ABAG Foundation

ABAG Foundation is an affiliate of the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Georgia. One of its goals is to assist students of Antiguan and Barbudan heritage achieve their educational goals and become productive citizens.  Qualified and productive citizens make a community grow.

 

ABAG Foundation Scholarship

 

The ABAG Foundation Scholarship is open to students of Antiguan & Barbudan heritage.

 

To receive a $600 award, write a 200-500 word essay describing your career goals and educational plans. Also, explain how you aspire to make a difference or give back to your community. Essay must be double spaced.

 

Additional Requirements:

​

  • College freshman/sophomore/junior with a minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Provide a sealed official high school or college transcript and proof of current college enrollment

  • A Letter of Reference – either Academic (eg. Advisor) or Personal (eg. Pastor, Volunteer Coordinator)

  • Special consideration will be given to applicants whose parents/guardians are members of the Antigua & Barbuda Association of Georgia

  • All funds will be made payable to the school

 

The application deadline is October each year.
